Art & Craft
At Dar-ul-Madinah, Art and Craft activities are an integral part of our Pre-Primary program, designed to spark imagination and creativity in young learners. Through hands-on experiences with colors, shapes, and textures, children not only explore their artistic abilities but also develop fine motor skills, concentration, and self-expression.
Our Art & Craft curriculum includes:
Painting & Printing Techniques – Blot painting, blow painting, sponge painting, splatter/spray painting, thread painting, leaf printing, hand and finger art, and magic painting with wax.
Collage & Paper Work – Blossom tree collage, crape paper collage, apple collage, cutting and pasting, and pinwheel making.
Creative Materials & Textures – Eggshell painting, paper collage, colour mixing and marbling, play dough modeling, and rubbing art.
These activities encourage children to think imaginatively, strengthen their motor skills, and create with confidence. They also support early learning concepts such as colours, shapes, and patterns while making the classroom environment lively and engaging.
Beyond creativity, Art and Craft helps build patience, problem-solving skills, and teamwork as children share materials, exchange ideas, and take pride in their creations. The joy of making something with their own hands boosts confidence and nurtures a love for learning.
At Dar-ul-Madinah, we believe that Art and Craft is more than just play—it is a meaningful pathway to cognitive, emotional, and social growth at the Pre-Primary stage.
